ES7 Async Functions on Tuts+

It’s been months since I’ve given you all any content here. I’m trying to break that trend, but it will be a while and will take some major changes in order to start writing regularly again. This post isn’t even a full post. Rather, it is an announcement to bring your attention to a post I wrote elsewhere.

I recently wrote a tutorial for Tuts+ about ES7 Async Functions. It was just published a couple of days ago (Dec 7, 2014) and I just wanted to bring it to light for anyone who doesn’t follow Tuts+. The tutorial is titled A Primer on ES7 Async Functions.

I know I’ve already written about Async Functions on this blog, but I’m really excited about them and I even have another tutorial on Async Functions up on Sitepoint now.

For a while, this blog may be more of a pointer to other blogs – primarily to posts I’ve written for other blogs – rather than featuring a lot of unique content here. This is largely because I’m trying to make it worth my time to write and at the moment this blog doesn’t make enough money to properly pay for my time. I have plans that could potentially change that, but for right now, this may be all you have to look forward to from me.

I do have one article that I want to write soon that I currently plan to feature here, but we’ll see how that pans out. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks. God bless and happy coding.
